Delivery: I received this within 5 days of ordering. It was packaged well, all parts included and no product damage.
Assembly: I assembled this by myself and I think it took about 2 - 2.5 hours (I had to stop and feed the dog and didn't really time assembly specifically). The directions are clear enough, especially when coupled with the manufacturer's online video. My knowledge of tools is very basic. I can pretty much figure out how to use something, but it takes me a little while and I don't really know the names. I finally realized that I needed to use both tools (wrenches? sockets?) for tightening the bolts at one time. One to hold the bolt still and the other to tighten the nut.
My second mistake was in putting on the pull-up bars. I put the smaller one one first and was initially only going to use that one. After putting it on, and tightening up all bolts, I decided to put on the larger one for band use and a TRX anchor. It was impossible to get it on! I got it wedged in, but the yellow arms were so solid and tight, I couldn't get it to line up with the wholes and the ends of it stuck out awkardly. At this point I couldn't do anything with it but let it stay wedged were it was (I even tried to use oil as a lubricant). I then remembered another review that said to install the pull-up bars before tightening everything. Duh. I then also realized that I didn't install the black plates on the outside of the yellow arms for the smaller pull up bar. I didn't want to risk a poor assembly job for safety's sake. I decided to take off the smaller pull up bar to put on all 4 plates for it and this allowed me to install the larger pull up bar!
Size: I think the size is great and fits neatly into its designated space. The dip handles are a little narrow but it works for me.
Look: impressive! I have a real piece of home gym equipment!
Use: I used it for the first time this morning for deadlifts and jumping pull ups. I felt safe and secure for all of my movements. No rocking on the jumping pull ups.
Note: I have a cheapy barbell set that I brought from a now closed chain fitness store. The wholes in the plates are too small to fit on the plate holders at the back of the rack. And, my bar is really too short. I can't push the plate all the way on and get the bar to fit on the rack. I can live with it as soon I'll have to buy more plates for heavier lifting.
If you're looking for a moderately priced rack, I recommend this one.

If you're looking for a moderately priced rack, I recommend this one.
Pros: 1)Comes with spotter arms, dip-bars, plate holders, two pull-up bars and j-hooks, which other products of a similar price lack. Hooks and arms are very easy to move.
2)Able to build solo very quickly- Note that you need to place the plate holding vertical bars before securing the base pieces, since the same screws go through those bars as well. The instructional video made that mistake and cut out the part where he clearly had to go back and undo screws. Also don't tighten the screws all the way until after you've placed both pull-up bars so they fit
3)Sturdy- I've so far tested the hooks and spotter arms with 415lbs, pull-up bars with 220 lbs, and the rack was very stable. This is certainly good enough for any beginner or intermediate lifting. Keep some plates or anything else heavy on the holders for added stability if you're a beefcake aiming to test that 800lb capacity, or expect to violently crash a squat at the edges of the spotter arms with more than a few hundred.
4)Good size- easily clears lower ceiling basements or garage. Most racks are 84-85inches, this is only 81.
5)Fits several bar types with some addendums- given we're in the apocalypse and all equipment is scarce, I'll point out that this rack can be made to work with both 5' and 6' standard (1" diameter) bars, despite being intended for the usual 7'. J-hooks will probably catch the short length olympic 2" diameter bars too, but I don't have and wouldn't test it. the 5' standard bar collars will be inside the rack, but if you get a few extra pairs of clips you can leave a portion open for re-racking, and have plenty of space inside the spotter arms for weight, as well as some outside. The collars of a 6' standard bar (CAP brand) just made it outside the hooks and rack, with about 3mm to spare- the small collars will fit on the J-hooks, and even the bar with a clip will fit on it, but you'll probably scratch them. You can again use a few extra clips to keep the plates further out and have more room for safely re-racking.
Cons: 1) The width of the towers is atypical, so you'll need to use the hooks and spotter bars provided. but again, these were sturdy.
2) Vertical plate holders will not fit the standard 1" diameter plates. They came close if you don't mind whittling them down
3)Dip bars "worked" (only tested once with about 200lbs) but I felt uneasy doing them off one spotter arm- The arm tilts very slightly (talking millimeters) initially when the back stop is forced to the top of the hole, but didn't move thereafter. If you jump on them it will be a bit jarring, so just lean on them before liftoff and it'll be fine. The handles also had some mild lateral wobble, which i guess works your stabilizers too but unintentionally. The asymmetry still made me nervous the whole time. Also make sure you remove them before doing bar exercises or you'll hit them
4)Surfaces will scratch if you swing the weights around like a drunk. Use good form and they'll last longer. But even if they do, the only cosmetic issue you should focus on is your own body, not the equipment. Get high quality tape if you're worried about rusting on any scratches.
For these times and that price all these cons are negligible.
I have and will recommend this to others
